Banning for a BCC
I was banned from Chovy’s political forum when a moderator admitted to admin there that I had BCC’d them on email I sent to Chovy.
I submit is is my right to control my emails as I see fit, and to include anyone I wish, openly or not.
The other thing I discovered is that John L, the admin who banned me had shared PM’s he sent to me with site moderators, he explains it as keeping his mod staff informed.
So why can’t I see the difference between me BCCing a moderator with an email, and he sharing PM’s? What am I missing that mine is a bannable offense and his is alright?
I have been banned from Hannity’s forums as well as a few others. Usually once you have a difference in view points with a mod then they will have it in for you and look for anything to axe you.

It is especially disheartining when I was banned even though I didn’t break the forum rules, an Chovy, who knows I didn’t break rules sides with John L because that is the easiest thing for him to do.
It lessens a board and the people who run it to let let bias instead of rules run their board.

How so chovy? I didn\’t break the rules, I was suspended because of a PM discussion with John L over \”classic liberal\” vs. \”Modern liberal\” that John L didn\’t like my answer to.
Just because \”everyone\” as you define it (which was far from everyone) wanted me banned doesn\’t make it right. All it means is that some are to cowardly for honest discussion.
It\’s easy for a coward to ban someone, right?
If you are not a coward about this ban, then let\’s discuss it in detail, including emails and PM\’s, I openly give permission for all PM\’s and emails to be made public in their entirety, as long as it is both sides and entire disclosure.
Lets go through the claims against me, the suspension and ban as they relate to the ruleset and common moderator practice on your board, and openly see if I was treated fairly.
If you are unwilling to be open and prove your actions were not based on personal reasons and bias against conservatives then anyone reading this knows why, right?
After all, if you were right in banning me you should have nothing to hide, right?

It was the right call to ban you. I have read your posts on Chovy’s site and I must say, you don’t leaned yourself to being very crediable. If they felt it was the right call then it was. BTW, Chovy’s site rarely bans anyone. If they choose to ban you, you must of Ucked Fup BIG.

I mean it’s one thing to kiss chovys ass, but why don’t you support it with fact?

I see Chovy is now lying about me on his forums, telling people I contacted advertisers before I was banned and that is the reason for the ban.
That is an out and out lie. A complete and total lie that shows a whole lot about Chovy’s character.
It’s true Jade did suggest to me that advertiser money was the only thing Chovy cared about during the suspension, but I never contacted an advertiser until after the ban.
And I think the advertisers should know who they are dealing with.

truth be told…you contact *me* you idiot through one of my other properties I advertise on IAP. I don\’t know for sure how many other advertisers you contacted.

All the advertiser contact was done AFTER I was banned, chovy, as you well know. You lied when you said that is why I was banned.
I was banned for BCCing Jade in the email I sent you. Targo told me I was banned for that, then I contacted your advertisers.
Why do you feel you have to lie about this?

I was recently banned from the Democratic Underground because I said that it would be a bad idea for Democrats to nominate Hillary Clinton for their Presidential Ticket. I am a registered Democrat and because I dissented from the partyline I was asked to prove that I am a Democrat by scanning my “Democratic registration card” whatever that is.
I sent an e-mail asking for an explanation two days ago and still have not heard back from them. Sometimes you just get shafted. The best thing you can do is to send an e-mail to all your old friends from that forum and take them to a forum you frequent or start up a forum of your own and take them there. That’s certainly what I did.
All independent thinkers are welcomed on the site that I started up. :)

Truth is FBM, you were banned with good reason.Once all the facts were laid before the moderators,it was a unanimous decision to ban you.Your conduct would have led you to being banned in all other forums as well.
The big picture is that the forum is chovy’s site.It is not a public site, it is chovy’s site. He has the right to refuse admission or ban whoever he sees fit.
My advice. Leave gracefully and with some dignity and learn a lesson from this. Hopefully the next forum you are on will benefit from your improved behaviour.

I was banned for BCCing Jade on an email I sent to Chovy. You can call that good reason all you want, but that doesn’t make it good reason.
